Microsoft Dynamics version 4.0 Support Announcement

Microsoft mainstream support has ended for Microsoft Dynamics version 4.0. This support ended as part of the regular Support Lifecycle policy attached to each Microsoft product. What does this mean? In short Microsoft no longer provide warranty claims or free hotfixes/ product enhancements commonly referred to as rollups. Extended support for MSCRM V4 is still available up until 2018 and the table below summarises the differences between mainstream and extended support:

New Dynamics 365 uses Cortana Analytics Suite

Dynamics 365 incorporates productivity enhancements and machine learning to improve Customer Engagement. Some of the enhancements included are:

Productivity Enhancements

In Microsoft Dynamics 365, there are new templates that allow you to quickly merge data into Word and Excel. While this was possible previously, the new interface allows this to be done more quickly and easier than ever before. There is also new Excel integration which allows you to view information such as sales pipelines using all of the power of Excel for detailed analysis. Voice of the Customer: New Survey Module

With the release Dynamics 365, Microsoft presents a new way to gather Customer feedback. The new Voice of the Customer survey module allows you to send surveys to Customers when a case is closed. The new user interface for surveys is clean and easy to use with a progress bar at the top of the screen. The module is built with adaptive design so it can be viewed with a mobile or laptop.
